So now that I have a bit of time off, work on the All Rivers project will resume. We had our first writing session in a while last night. I've been away on the Gwar/JFAC tour since September. But the song with the working title, "River Reunion" has advanced to level 3.02b. Excerpts are becoming songs and songs are becoming universes. Erica has a means to record music now, which should expedite our riffing. 5 skeletons of songs are taking shape. We are excited.
I'll be working on music for Stomach Earth finally...people have been asking me about this for a while. I know it has been very slow to materialize. There is a link in the Projects section.
The picture above is from Cheeburger Cheeburger in Denver. Guy and I are hanging on their wall of victory for eating 20 oz burgers.
Happy Holidays!

The Bad Plus
Seeing the Bad Plus tonight in Boston. Check them out here:
The Bad Plus
We finished up some ideas for new All Rivers songs last night, a very productive evening. I wanted to record demos of said songs today, but the day got away from me. Tomorrow we'll be shooting a video for Demoralizer and playing the Palladium in Worcester, MA. After that, these relaxing days off are over. We'll be back on the road with Gwar and Job For A Cowboy. Come hang out with us!

All Rivers
For a little over a year I've been working with my friend Erica on a new project that we have recently decided to call All Rivers. I have mentioned it in TRC interviews as Secret Cupcake, its working title. It is music of a gentle nature, the polar opposite of most of my other work. Acoustic guitar is the foundation of the music, but we'll be incorporating a lot of different instruments. Banjo, mandolin, recorder and piano are things we have in mind. Erica is incredibly talented and I'm both excited and honored to be writing with her! We'll have some recordings up soon. Links will be posted here.

4th TRC full length
The fourth full length from my main band, The Red Chord is now out. We spent the better part of last year writing this and tracked it in April at Backyard Studios with Jonny Fay, our former guitar player. It's called Fed Through the Teeth Machine and is available in stores as well as here: www.indiemerchstore.com/theredchord
